Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. She made her film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to appear as a anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte as Taffin in 1988. Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody began modelling after being invited by an experienced photographer. This led to a successful career as a commercial model. Doody was adamantly against glamour and sexually explicit work. This was a policy allowed her to pursue an acting profession. When she was spotted by the director of casting in an upcoming James Bond movie, she was cast of A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Doody appeared in John Willis Screen World Volume 2, as one 12 promising actors to be cast in 1986. 38. Her first appearance was in the film Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she portrayed Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. In the film, she also appeared alongside Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody has acted alongside three actors who have portrayed James Bond. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. She replaced Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson part. She then played Flannery Sheen's lover and agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994.
