Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger, born February 22, 1983 , is an American comedian as well as an actress, host of a television show executive producer, as well as screenwriter. She was the winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing 2008 and has since been the host of the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.

 Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late night talk show. She has six Netflix comedy specials. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into an Jewish family from New York City. She was born in the city of New York to Jewish parents. The family relocated to Dallas as young. She went to Addison's exclusive Greenhill School, Texas where she studied Spanish as well as being a part of the school's improvisation club.

 Shlesinger was a performer on ComedySportz Dallas. She also studied at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She took part in Semester at Sea. She went to Emerson College in Boston. She studied film and edited. She was also an actor in the Jimmy's comedy sketch group Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger completed her college degree and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one the most famous members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
