Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968, is an American actress. Her most famous work is for her performances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in DuPage County Illinoisnear Chicago and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of a schoolteacher's parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. Carlson is of Swedish origin with roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College and beginning of careers
She was introduced to Hollywood through her work as a background character in the film Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim, and Winona Ryder. Then, she joined her sister Betsy (Knox College) in Galesburg.
